Families and officials are still searching for dozens of people missing after catastrophic floods swept through the Texas Hill Country, including children and adults from camps and homes in Kerr County.

Brad Perry, a former League City volunteer firefighter, remains missing in the aftermath of the Texas Hill Country floods. The League City Volunteer Fire Department shared a heartfelt message, saying, “Our deepest prayers for our brother, Brad, that he is found safe. Several of our members have been keeping in contact with his family.”

Rescue crews remain focused on locating the 10 missing campers and one counselor from Camp Mystic
Katherine Ferruzzo, a counselor in the Bubble Inn cabin, was working at the all-girls camp in Hunt when the Guadalupe River surged 26 feet in just 45 minutes, sweeping through the property and trapping dozens.
In a statement, her family shared: “As of today, our daughter, Katherine Ferruzzo, a counselor in the Bubble Inn cabin at Camp Mystic, remains unaccounted for. We ask for your ongoing prayers as responders search for her and the many other victims of last week’s devastating floods in Central Texas. Katherine has a fierce and loving spirit, and we have no doubt she did all she could to save the lives of the girls in her cabin. Our family asks that you give us privacy while we await more news and grieve this tragedy.”
Two children remain missing
A family of four, including an 8-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl, vanished Friday morning after floodwaters tore through the home where they were staying. The parents, Tivy boys soccer coach Reece Zunker and his wife Paula, died in the floods, and their children are still missing, according to the team and the Kerrville Daily Times.
Two people, Richard Pagard and Carol Andrews, remain missing from the HTR TX Hill Country Campground, along with their 2-year-old dog, Poppy, according to Pagard’s son.
On Tuesday, we learned from family members that Beth and Bryan Hutch’s bodies have since been recovered. The couple was staying along the Guadalupe River in the 2000 block of State Highway 39, according to a family friend.
5 missing after attempting to evacuate Ingram campground
Five family members were last seen Friday while trying to evacuate HTR Campgrounds in Ingram, a family member told KPRC 2’s sister station KSAT.
A relative identified the campers missing as:

- Cody Crossland
- Tasha Ramos
- Joel Ramos
- Kyndall Ramos
Four people missing after a home in the 1700 block of State Highway 39 in Hunt, Texas, was swept away have been identified as Aiden Heartfield, Ella Cahill, Joyce Badon and Reese Manchaca, according to family members. All four are from Beaumont and graduates of Kelly High School.
On Monday, the family of Joyce Catherine Badon confirmed her body had been found.
In Kerr County, home to Camp Mystic and several other youth camps in the Texas Hill Country, search crews have recovered the bodies of 68 people, including 28 children, according to Sheriff Larry Leitha.
